This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love seeing students thrive in a place where they feel safe, have fun, and want to learn. My students learn so much through play and stories and I love to be able to share great literature with them!
Learning through stories is so impactful, especially in the primary grades.
Books that are geared towards social/emotional learning and thematic activities like spring will help us to connect more with the world around us. Students enjoy not only listening to stories, but having them in the classroom so they can revisit them often, retelling them to each other as they enjoy the books.
