This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love when they are given new books to read. These books will be used for our class book clubs and our whole class novel study.
It is important for me to provide grade level books but also to provide books for students who are at a different reading level.
They provide a slight challenge while still being at their independent reading level.
The books I chose were all chosen with my students' interests in mind. Choosing books of their interest will increase their participation in whole class discussions as well as discussion in their book clubs.
