This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am switching grade levels next year and need your help! The majority of my students come from low income families. Students come to school ready to learn and eager to share their experiences and learning with others. Fifth grade is such an important year for growth and development and getting ready for middle school.
My Project
I moved to fifth grade from first grade, and I need to build a library of high interest books for my fifth graders. I want to introduce my fifth graders to high interest books so that they can develop a love of reading. Providing my students with many different kinds of books is important so that they can see there is a book for everyone.
I want to create a reading corner that provides high interest books that the students can't wait to get their hands on.
This project will help me build an age appropriate library for my fifth graders.
