Help me give my students novels to read throughout the school year. Due to unprecedented times, students will each need a copy of the novel.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 4th and 5th grade Gifted Reading/Language Arts in West Kendall, Miami. My students are very eager to learn, and enjoy going above-and-beyond the standard curriculum. I have always loved to incorporate novels into my reading class so that we can go beyond the textbook. I have picked out some amazing chapter books that my students will enjoy.
This school year is unlike any we have every had before.
I have two reading classes, both mixed with 4th and 5th grade students. One of the classes is learning completely online, while the other is in the school house. This has been a very challenging year due to the pandemic, but my students really enjoy reading novels together. Since we are no longer sharing materials, each student will need their own individual copy of the text.
My Project
This project will make a difference in my students' learning because it will allow them to read something other than the standard curriculum. We have not been able to read many novels this year due to the pandemic. One full class of my students is working from home, so they do not have access to novels. Since we can no longer share materials, each student will need their own individual copy of the text in order for us to be able to read it together.
In years past, students have been able to share books with each other.
Please help my students continue their reading by affording them each a set of novels to read so that we can continue our reading instruction through novels. The students just love reading novels and I want them to be able to continue doing so, even though our school year is a little different this year.
