My Students

The first grade at my school has almost 60 students. We are in an area of Pinal County where there is no public library in our community. The closest library is in the next town over. If our families want to use the library, they have to pay a fee.

We are looking for additional funds to add more books to the first grade library, books on CDs, and sets of books for small and large groups.

My Project

These books are favorites for our students. They love to read them over and over. That is why we need to replace them. The books will help our students strengthen their comprehension skills, fluency, and phonemic awareness.

Our students do not have access to a public library.

Therefore, having a full classroom library is a great need in our school.

I know many of the first graders will be more than excited to see and even read the new books that will arrive with this generous donation. Thank you very much!
