My students need a wide range of books that are on their reading levels. These materials offer such a great opportunity for the lowest to the highest readers in my class find books they love.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves to read, although the level and interest in the texts in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are an amazing group of young scholars, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy-I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. But we need more! I simply just do not have enough books on all the levels that my students need.
All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind-I have watched them the past few weeks of school read titles just like these, and I have also asked them what type of books they would enjoy reading.
Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time.
