My Project

I teach second graders. These second graders are so excited to participate in school when hands-on approaches and technology are involved. They are smart and creative. They are excited to participate in writer's workshops and publish all types of stories and create all types of art. They are excited to learn math skills, spelling, grammar, reading, vocabulary, and physical skills.

Second graders are the perfect age to foster a love of learning that should continue throughout their lives.

They live in view of the beautiful mountains and are active every minute of the day. Their favorite time is when we get together in our classroom to read aloud. They laugh, joke, and support each other.

This project will bring amazing books into our classroom. Books are an amazing way to show students what's happening in our world. Books can help students understand how their own character develops. It can also help them learn about how we can get along, how we learn, and other social and learning skills. I am also requesting teacher reference books to support my students.

I am excited to share all of these books to help my students' awareness grow. I am also glad to be able to bring other supplies into our classroom. We need whiteboard posters and markers to facilitate discussions about our learning. Cooperation and teamwork help us learn and grow. Thank you for considering helping our class.
