Books, Bags, and Bright Ideas!

Help me give my students some high-interest series, tote bags (to keep those books safe), and markers to help them decorate their tote bags to get them excited about reading!

My Project

In our classroom, books are more than just reading material—they're doorways to new worlds, new ideas, and new dreams. As our classroom library grows, I want to make sure every student has what they need to care for these books and feel a true sense of ownership and pride in their reading space.

That’s why I’m asking for your help to provide canvas book bags, colorful markers, and a variety of engaging books for our class library.

The canvas bags will be used by students to keep their chosen books safe and organized while in the classroom. This small but meaningful addition helps students learn responsibility and respect for shared materials, reinforcing important habits that extend beyond the school day.

The markers will be used for decorating their book bags at the beginning of the year as a way of self-expression, but also make reading feel more personal and fun.

Most importantly, we’re hoping to add new, high-interest books to our classroom library. The 3rd graders are really into graphic novels and by adding these series into my library, I know it'll get students excited about reading!
