My Students

Before anything else, preparation is the key to success. (Alexander Graham Bell). Wouldn't you love to be a part of a child's success? Children need to be prepared for learning and organizational materials will help them with that.

Our students' families are not always able to provide even basic schools supplies let alone anything "extra"; a roof over their heads and food on the table takes precedence - as it should.

By helping students learn organizational skills will benefit them for years to come.

My Project

By creating organizational materials such as pens, makers, binders and a pencil sharpener are specific to the students' needs. We can help to instill pride in their school work. Also, with the creative and organization materials I am seeking, the students will be better able to identify key factors while in reading groups. Text coding and note taking lead to being better able to recall context clues and ultimately result in increased comprehension. All that just from sticky notes and places to keep stuff!

Organizational skills is yet one more thing we are trying to teach our students.

If their reading, note taking, and writing are organized they will take pride in their work. Pride leads to great effort and greater effort to success.
