Books Are Taking Over!!!!

My project needs a bookshelf in order to make it easier to organize the books for the students to find.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Bryan's classroom raised $316

This project is fully funded

I teach 3rd grade in a title I school with approximately 81% free and reduced lunch. We are a very diverse group of learners, from EC children with special learning disabilities, to ELL students that have primary languages other than English, to higher level achieving students. With that in mind, you can imagine the many different books that we need to keep in our classrooms to ensure that every child has something to read that makes them feel successful. As wonderful as it is to have so many books in our classroom, it has presented a neatness and storing issue for the books. Books have taken over every shelf that we have as well as tubs and crates. Whenever the children go to get books it has become a disaster! If the books that they are looking for are in tubs, then the books are either getting torn up due to being moved around so much or they are falling all over the place. As well as the mess they are making, it is also causing time issues. By the time the students find the books they are looking for, free reading time is almost over. Please help our kids and books to be more effective readers and reading material.
