My Project

I intend to build up my classroom library even more than I already have. While I do have several titles, there are always more that students can relate to being published daily. Since we don't have access to a library, this may be the only way they have a path to reading.

Having books that students see themselves in helps make my students into lifelong readers and learners.

They not only see themselves as valued but also the act of reading as important.

Students often enter my class without having read a book since elementary school. In my classroom, I want to reintroduce them to the love of reading and all the positives they can take away from a book.
