Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach first grade in Indianapolis Public Schools. I spend much of my day teaching in small groups. My students read more and their comprehension skills are greatly improved by working with them a few at a time. I end up finishing our school reading book and search high and low for other books to read. Most of the time I find books that were popular in the 50's or 60's but are completely out of date for the 00's. Will you help me bring my books up to the present? My students would love it. I want to thank you in advance for helping these great students.
