My Project
Imagine a world where every child sees themselves reflected in the stories they read. I am embarking on a journey to enrich my students' lives with culturally responsive books that celebrate diversity, promote empathy, and ignite curiosity. Join me in creating a library that embraces the richness of our global community!
Reading stories from various backgrounds helps students cultivate empathy and acceptance.
These books lay the foundation for crucial conversations about equity, justice, and the beauty of our shared humanity, preparing our students to be responsible global citizens. By having a collection of culturally responsive books, I am giving my students the chance to connect with characters whose stories mirror their own, as well as those of their peers from around the world.
