My Project

Since COVID-19, students are coming in to school with stronger emotions and need help regulating these emotions. Many of the books for this project are geared towards mindfulness and strategies for handling strong emotions. Students are also coming to school in need of extra support for socializing. The sensory tools, bins, and desk pets are all things that I use to help students practice their social skills and their oral language skills. Finally, I am hoping to get high interest books to help students develop their love of reading and help them grow as a reader.
