This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I read books and take reflective notes for professional growth as a Visual Arts educator in order to create activities and assignments for my students.

A high quality document scanner will allow digitizing of much needed documents for lesson planning and creating content for my students.

With a professional book scanner, high quality images can be studied by students on a large screen and utilized for art projects. Larger student works can be digitized and shared during art critiques at the end of each unit.

Having a useful device will drastically improve workflow and ability to plan for lessons that have high quality images, enriching art instruction that is relevant to developing my students' visual arts literacy.
