Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is in need of a pencil sharpener. We have had 3 and they have been broken. At this time our school cannot provide any more for us until next school year August 2025. In our classroom pencils are essential because we write daily in class. So we definately need a sharpener for our students to use.

Because of Winn Dixie book set is an exceptional need in our classroom.

Students complete a major compare and contrast project in Reading Intervention reading Winn Dixie. Our current books are old and falling apart. Our classroom library is in need of new books.

Stickers are an important staple in our classroom. I use stickers daily to motivate student to produce on Lexia Power Up ( our Literacy program) and to complete daily reading assignements. Students earn stickers daily and once they earn 30 stickers they turn in the sticker sheet and get prizes like candy ,chips, toys, etc.
