My Project

The books that I would love to add to our classroom library will foster a love of reading first and foremost. I chose books that emphasize growth mindset as well as SEL. Our classroom is very diverse, I chose books that represent our students, so they are able to feel connected and included.

The goal for my project is to be able to give them snacks daily and add new books to our classroom library!

My students are Kindergarteners, so it is their first time in school! I think that is special because I get to be their first introduction to learning and being in school, as most did not attend Preschool. I feel honored to be in the role I am in. To know that I can make a difference in their mindset towards school and foster a love of learning is incredible! They are all so kind and generous with their hugs! I love being their teacher!
