My Project

I love that my students come to school each day full of curiosity, energy, and potential. They are bright, creative thinkers who are eager to learn and grow. What makes them truly special is their resilience and determination. Many face challenges outside of the classroom, yet they continue to show up ready to engage, explore, and connect. They ask big questions, share bold ideas, and bring their own unique voices into our learning community.

One of the best ways to support their growth is through access to a wide variety of books.

A rich classroom library helps create a space where all students can find themselves in stories—whether through characters who share their experiences or through new worlds that stretch their imaginations. The diverse set of books I am hoping to provide will include different genres, cultures, reading levels, and topics, allowing every student to find something that excites them. Whether it’s a reluctant reader discovering a graphic novel they can’t put down or an avid reader diving into a new series, these books will help foster a love of reading that lasts a lifetime.

With these new books, my goal is to empower my students as readers, thinkers, and learners. They will build fluency, expand vocabulary, strengthen comprehension skills, and most importantly—learn to love reading. The classroom library will become a hub of excitement and exploration, where students feel confident choosing texts that challenge and inspire them. Your support will help create that spark, giving every child the opportunity to grow through the power of books.
