My Students
We need more leveled readers in our classroom. We are a group of 22 wonderful kindergarten students. We are learning the alphabet, letter sounds, sight words, and beginning to read!
We get so excited when we can open a book and actually READ it!
We need more leveled books in our classroom to read independently, with our teacher, and to each other. Students begin reading with look books and picture books and then we move them to level A books when they are ready.
My Project
I am requesting level A-D leveled books for our classroom library. These books are very short and we need many of them. We need a lot of A-D books because most kindergartners are reading on those levels. I am also requesting a green and a blue bean bag for our class library.
It is so important to instill a love for reading at an early age.
We try so hard to make reading a positive and successful experience for every child. These books really help children feel like readers. If you choose to donate to this project you will be helping children feel successful as readers. You and I together can help make reading a positive, fun, and successful experience!
