Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is meant to fill some gaps in my classroom, from books with high interest topics and representation to hygiene and class essentials.
My school is a Title 1 school and unfortunately underfunded.
Many of my students don't have access to books and supplies at home. This project is meant to provide them with supplies they would need and set our classroom up for success.
As an English teacher, I have always felt that students learn the most by reading. I want my classroom to be a comfortable place with the items they need and books they could see themselves reading. With your help, we can make this a reality.
