My Project

My students have a strong desire to read books that they relate to as well as books they can have fun reading and discussing. These books will strengthen the love for reading in my classroom that I strive to create. All of these books have been chosen by my students. My hope is that students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level at home and at school. Many students will benefit from this project being funded. They also need some basic classroom supplies like pencils, ink for our printer (students have access to a color printer for their projects including: door decorating for Black History Month, color pictures for project based learning artifacts, and images for visual book reports) a new classroom speaker (we use our speaker for background music for creating an calm environment, engaging in multi-media learning cross-content), and calculators.
