This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are full of potential. They want to become better readers and writers. They want to continue growing academically. They are our future. To live up to their potential in our public school system, where students have so many diverse challenges, they need our support.
My middle school students need books that are relevant to their lives and interests, as well as basic tools to assist them in their reading.
They need a variety of books they can read together in book clubs. They need pencils and sticky notes so they can annotate and write about their reading.
Books that pass through many young hands year after year get old fast. Please help me give my amazing students a refreshed library to assist them in their reading and writing goals for the 23-24 school year!
