I teach 9th graders as a personal passion to set the stage for their high school experience. Research shows that success in 9th grade leads to future school success and increased graduation rates. I am committed to ensuring they have a positive experience with their high school onboarding and set up for bright academic futures. When you are one of our students, you are part of the family. We strive to nurture the culture and community of our school so that we can move toward all our students becoming independent learners. Our school has a tradition of pride and excellence, as well as a tight-knit community. We teach our students to be absolutely better every day. Our students love to participate in learning opportunities of all kinds, especially reading experiences that deepen their knowledge. On Wednesdays, we read independently. They will have many enriching activities with these books. Students are excited to read books that they can relate to, entertain them, and that can fulfill their academic curiosities.
My Project
The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow in reading. This title is specifically requested by my high school students. They're hoping to read books together in groups, as well as individually. My students are invested in reading, "My Almost Flawless Tokyo Dream Life." This will give them an opportunity to hear more stories and help them know their own truth.
By donating to our project you will improve the academic achievement of our students.
They're ready to read books that they can relate to and enjoy reading. After the heavy, eighteen months they have had, they are ready to read uplifting, fun and adventurous books! This is a perfect story about a child who is swept away to live with their wealthy uncle in Japan. My Almost Flawless Tokyo Dream Life is about learning what it is to be a family, and finding the inner strength to be yourself, even in the most extreme circumstances.
