My Project

This project aims to create a section for my classroom library with high-interest books about dyslexia.

I want to encourage our fragile learners with dyslexia to learn through the perspective of others who are also dyslexic with high-interest reading material.

We want to increase our literature selection that reflects some of our current student struggles with learning to read. We believe rich literature experiences expand our students' perspectives and deepen their understanding of their reading disabilities. Our students with dyslexia are thoughtful, and kind and would benefit from reading material that reflects their own personal struggles with learning.
