My Project

This project will help build my library. Right now a large number of my books are for second and third graders. This year I teach first grade. These students need more books on their level and books that I think they would be interested in. My hope is that by building my library I will in turn build my students’ fluency and comprehension levels.

Not only do I believe that these books will help my students become better readers, but also better writers.

Since reading and writing go hand in hand I’m truly hoping that these books will assist my students in becoming some of the best readers and writers in my school building.
