I teach at Burgaw Elementary School, which is located in the rural city of Burgaw, NC in Pender County. We are a Title One school with over 80% of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. I am currently teaching the first grade. I teach all of the first grade English Language Learners (ELL).
I am seeking funding for much needed bookmaking materials. We are exploring the unique world of becoming publishers. The children are having such a wonderful time learning how to become writers. We have been researching different ways to make books and publish their stories. We truly need some bookmaking materials to help their dreams of becoming publishers come true.
