My Project

The kids at my school are robust learners who crave new material all of the time. As the media specialist, I have a big responsibility to acquire the books that will hook them into reading and help them develop into lifelong readers.

When students leave LES, they leave as students who love reading and love books.

Teaching students how to love reading is the most important work that we do here. I work everyday to create lifelong learners and readers. It is incredibly rewarding seeing kids arrive excited about new books (and our super cool bookmarks) in the media center. We are so grateful!
