This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are great. I get to see them from the time they enter my program (usually first or second grade) until they graduate from fifth grade and move on to middle school. This allows me to build a great relationship with them and see them grow. The program I implement requires a binder for their reading, handwriting, and spelling practice. The backpacks will help me help them keep organized. The mirrors are for our new concept/sound practice to help them work on the proper positioning of their lips and when making a new sound. The magnetic pads are great for practicing handwriting. We learn cursive, so these will be a great addition to their cursive practice.
