My Students

The students are wholesome, good-natured and eager to learn. They are incredibly unique individuals that are looking for every opportunity to get better in their education as well as personally.

The students bring an exciting energy to the class and has served as a touching reminder of why I teaching is such a rewarding profession.

Their creativity is always on display and will surely lead to some standout projects as the year progresses. These students deserve every opportunity to succeed.

My Project

These books will make a difference in my students' learning by being the leaping-off point in our big quarter project. Using the book to experience first-hand what an amazing adventure looks and feels like will aid them as they work on their own adventure projects. It is integral that I tie my main project and quarterly reading together to give the students a cohesive learning structure.

Imagination and creativity will bloom in the minds of my students as they delve deeply into the world Verne has created.

As we read the students will be tasked with crafting their own world from scratch. They will imagine every aspect of their world; ranging from concrete topics like flora, fauna, climate and environment, all the way to more abstract ideas like religion and ruling governments. Once created, all the students will get to share and explore their peersʻ creations, one step at a time.
