My Project

My English Language Arts students in 7th grade want more time to read choice books during class. Some of them can only read at school because their lives are so busy with extra-curricular activities and family commitments. Our class library needs more new books to put into their hands.

Students are wanting books that pique their curiosity, imagination, and are stories they can relate to.

My goal is to get every student in all my classes interested in reading books they can't put down in their hands to read rather than playing video games on their laptops.
