My Project
I absolutely love how curious, energetic, and full of imagination my 3rd grade students are. They’re at that perfect age where their sense of wonder is huge, and they’re starting to explore the world more independently. They ask thoughtful questions, make surprising connections, and bring so much personality into everything they do, especially when we read together.
This book will help them fall in love with reading because it follows the whimsical adventures of a boy that is around their age.
The characters face challenges they can relate to, and the story invites them to laugh, think, and feel—all at once. It sparks their imagination and shows them that reading isn’t just about words on a page—it’s about adventure, connection, and seeing themselves in stories. Watching them light up as they read and realize that books can be fun and meaningful is one of the best parts of being their teacher.
