Help me give my students books they can read during book clubs at lunch time!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Wolfe's classroom raised $572

My Project
Our school is in a rural community in South Carolina, where tradition is thick and families depend on one another. We are a Title I school. Ninety-two percent of our students are on free or reduced-price lunch plans. Students in our school are considered at risk of failure and live at or near the poverty level. I have students from many different races, religions, and academic levels. Being a part of a book club where they can read and talk about one of the requested books that interests them will grow a love of reading and give them opportunities to think critically and then share their thinking in a group setting.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
