My Project
My students are all unique individuals with different needs and abilities. My students are hard working and always try their best to complete assigned tasks. My students have been practicing and improving their reading skills in second grade.
My students are learning to find just-right books at their comfort level to ensure optimal comprehension and understanding during independent reading time.
Ensuring they have access to the right books in an organized way ensures they are set up for optimal success in class. I believe in leading by example and keeping my classroom library organized will help them stay organized and find their books in a timely manner.
Utilizing a variety of instructional materials, will help ensure all students are given the opportunity to succeed, no matter what. The dry-erase place value charts will be an asset in our class as we learn two and three-digit addition and subtraction with and without regrouping. This will allow them to solve the equations in an organized way by showing their work.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
