My Project

The items for the book nook project aims to create a dedicated reading space in our first-grade classroom. The nook will provide a quiet, comfortable, and inviting space for students to engage in independent reading, group discussions, and creative writing activities.

Cultivate a positive attitude towards reading through engaging activities and discussions.

Many first-grade students struggle with finding a quiet and inviting place to read and explore their imagination. A dedicated reading nook can help address this issue by providing a calming space for students to develop their reading skills and foster a love of literature.

Access to books is limited for some families and the book nook project will allow students to create a take home book bag and fill it each week to enjoy reading at home with their families.
