My Project

I absolutely LOVE that so many of my students are becoming readers. I do not mean they are learning to read; I mean they are learning to love reading. From a senior athlete who has never read an entire novel on his own, to a boy in my honors English class who hated reading until he discovered romance, they are digging in and loving it.

Providing my students with a wide variety of classroom books, in multiple genres, allows me to help each one discover his ideal type of literature.

I condsider it a win each time a student realizes that a book is good, and I want to offer him more and more. In order to do that, I desperately need more books.
