This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our preschool through eighth grade community is dedicated to providing a safe and positive learning environment in which students will be encouraged and supported to reach their full academic potential.

Our core focus is an emphasis on rigorous academics in every subject area including: reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies and science.

We believe our core mission is to ensure that every child is achieving at or above grade level in each subject area.

Our intervention programs are designed to quickly and effectively identify remediation and enrichment opportunities for each and every child through data-based decision-making. We believe that with meaningful instruction children love learning.

Disclaimer: My school and district supply all the essential items needed to teach the core curriculum.

My Project

I am asking for a heavy duty pencil sharpener since smaller ones break easily. I would also like to have a paper cutter in my classroom.

The coolest item I am requesting is a thermal binding machine!

I just discovered that it exists and think that the students in my Writing Elective would love it. We have already written a comic book and are currently working on an adventure story. I plan on having them write several types of stories this year. They can use the binding machine to put all the stories together to make a book that they can keep forever.
