Book Making Is Fun!

Help me give my students the materials they need to make their own decodable books.

My Project

My students love to read and write. During choice time many of my students choose to make posters, cards, and books. As I prepare for the upcoming school year, I am requesting paper, paper cutters, and stampers to give my students a variety of materials to help them make books especially decodable books.

These personalized decodable books will support my new students' developing connection to print on the page to their own individual interests.

By giving my students the opportunity to make their own books, I am setting the groundwork for lifelong readers and writers. The book baggies will be used to store all of my students' work.
