Book for Middle School Book Club

Help me give my students Nevermoor, a fun engaging book to use in our middle school book club.

My Students

We have a great group of readers at our school and this project supports them. Middle school students need books just as much as younger students. Sometimes kids who don't like reading that much, join because they think the book that month sounds interesting. So I try to find student friendly books in hopes of getting a wide variety of students involved.

Students who join the book club have fun interacting with other students who like to read.

This program over the years has built up many student's home libraries since they are able to keep the book.

My Project

Reading is important and fun. It's great to give kids their own books and our school book club does just that. Over 20 students sign up during each of three lunches to participate. Each student receives a book to keep with the condition that they will come back during lunch to eat and talk about the book.

This project helps those kids who love to read and gives them a place to belong.

It appeals to readers and focuses on their talents. It also shows students that there are others like them who like to read and makes reading the "cool" thing to do.
