This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have worked very hard to learn the phonics skills needed to read chapter books. They have been working very hard for the past 3 years to be able to read these types of books. I am beyond proud and excited to say that THEY HAVE REACHED THEIR GOAL! I have mostly boys in my classroom, and this year they suggested that they would like to start reading the Dog Man, Captain Underpants, and Cat Kid books. Help me give my newly inspired readers a fun and exciting library! They will be very grateful and excited!
