This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are passionate about reading! They want to share their love of reading with other students in our school. One special student has submitted a well thought out proposal to start a book club in our middle school. So that's what we will do.

The materials in this project will be used to start book club in our middle school.

This book club will be for any student to join. We hope to create a supportive community of book lovers to foster a lifelong love of reading. Please help us make this book club proposal into a reality and give these students something fun to be part of.

Each student will receive a notebook and pen for book notes, a book pouch to keep their items, sticky notes, a book club bracelets for community building, and book mark to keep track of the books they read throughout the school year. This project includes ribbon to add to their book mark tassel each time they complete a book.
