My Project

The power of book club books can inspire students to read, it increases literacy, encourages collaboration, and helps students find their love for reading. Discussions of books with others deepen their understanding and open their minds to empathy for others while encouraging accountability to think deeply about their reading when talking to other students about the book they are reading. When students read, they gain new perspectives, give students a break to release creativity and broaden their horizons right from the comfort of their own class. Bonus...students can find new friends, both fictional and real in the classroom!
