My Students
My students love to come to school, where for some of them it's the only place they feel safe. I love teaching them and they are not without their challenges. So many of them have lived a life I could never imagine. Their eagerness and enthusiasm to learn to make me strive to find a variety of programs and materials to enhance the curriculum so they can enjoy learning so much more.
My students come with a variety of skill levels since some this is their first experience with school and they lack the basic foundation to move forward with their education.
My Project
Help my students create classroom books that can be read over and over again with ease. In Pre-K we love to create our own books, and doing so gives us pride in our work.
Children in Pre-K love to read the same book over and over again and the repetition of familiar books helps them become better readers.
The ability to have class-created books bound and ready to read would be a wonderful asset to my fledgling readers. That’s why I feel a Tru-Bind binding machine would be a great asset to my students and classroom. Pre-K students love to read and be read to, how much fun would it be for them to write and publish their own books?
