My Students
I am privileged to teach 45 outstanding students. My students are very inquisitive, creative, and extremely clever. We are a Title I school where over two-thirds of the population receives free or reduced-price lunch. Even through adversity, these students are still resilient, excited, and enthused about learning.
Our school is very culturally diverse, extremely competitive, and we strive for excellence daily.
Willing, ready, and always trying to stand out above the rest, we need to produce competitive scholars for the future. We are shining stars and would love to shine with or above the rest.
My Project
My classroom need a more diverse classroom library that is more reflective of them. The books in this project will definitely assist students as they build their literacy skills and develop a love for reading while learning in a math and science classroom.
One way students can see success is when they can see themselves in the books they read.
These books will give the students a great opportunity to build the richness and exploration that comes from reading a variety of books. Also, these books can open a world of opportunities and adventure.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
