My Students

Outside of school, my students face many challenges that no child should have to face. I teach in a Title I school that has just recently moved out of turnaround status. We are currently a math focus school.

While my students are in school, I like to make our days as fun and exciting as possible!

This year I will be teaching kindergarten and will need some new materials for my students to start their school experience off on the right foot!

My Project

My students sit at tables with no place to store their materials. These bins would be so useful in many ways- they can hold all of their books to read and workbooks along with activities they each have to work on. Currently we are using bins that I purchased that aren’t very sturdy and are falling apart. Each child would have their own bin to keep all of their things. Covid protocols don’t allow us to share materials like we have in years passed. These would keep us organized and safe.
