Book Bins to Grab, Carry, and Read

My Project

This year I moved to a new classroom. I have many many books but they are in big bulky cardboard boxes. My students cannot easily see inside the boxes and the boxes are too heavy to lift off the shelves. I want my students to be able to easily access all my beautiful books on their own.

These books bins will help me organize my library into clear topics and allow my students to find all their favorite books.

The bins are smaller so students can easily lift them off the shelves, take them to a cozy spot, and read!

Learning to read with confidence and joy is a critical part of First Grade. An organized accessible library of books will provide my students with the independence and choice they need to read as much as possible.
