My Project
My students love to read and check out books from the library. However, I have noticed that many students have trouble finding the books they want if the books are traditionally shelved with their spines facing out.
When books are organized by topic and in bins, students gain the confidence and independence to find their own books.
All book bins will be labeled with a picture to help students identify the topic of the books located in the bins.
These bins will be used to reorganize the nonfiction library shelves and make our library an accessible place for all students to find the books that interest them.
