Book Bins For Readers Who Read

My students need 6 sets of shelf file boxes to store their books and reading materials while they are in my classroom.

My Students

Readers learn best in differentiated groups. But when you move to a different classroom for reading, where do you put all of your reading supplies?

My Reading students have been identified as "struggling," meaning that they need more attention and intervention than their peers.

Because of this, they move from their own classrooms to my classroom for their Reading and Writing classes. But because they are not in their own space at this time, they need a place to store their reading materials that is easily accessible for them and that will not get mixed up with the materials that my homeroom class uses during the rest of the day.

My Project

With their own book bins, my students will have their very own place to store and organize their reading materials. Each book bin has enough space to keep their independent reading books, workbooks, and homework folders secure and accessible while they are in my classroom. The bins requested in this project fit easily on a small bookshelf, saving space in a small, crowded learning environment.

My students need to spend their time in Reading reading.

By providing easily accessible, personal storage for each of my struggling readers, we will help them to save time finding and sorting through everything they need to be successful in my class. These book bins are sturdy and can be used for years to come, through many classes of readers.
