Book Bins for Bookworms

My Students

My sweet firsties come to school every day full of energy and eager to learn new things! They love exploring and learning with their friends in our classroom.

They are so excited about each others' achievements!

I want them to have experiences this year to foster a lifelong love of learning! Our school is a Title I school in a small rural community. However, despite any hardships, they are excited about school and learning! I want them to know that school is a place where learning is FUN!

My Project

My first grade kiddos come to me eager to learn how to read! The book bins I am asking for will be for the students to use daily. The extra large bins will hold our classroom library book sorted by theme or reading level. The smaller bins will be for the students to keep their books they want to read for the week.

On Mondays my students "shop" for their books for the week from the classroom library.

They will use their book bin to house their books for the week. They will also keep their two library books in their bin.

These book bins will help keep our classroom library neat, organized, and ready for my firsties to shop each week!

The pocket charts will help with organization for our weekly ELA skills as well. It is important to have materials readily available to my students to master skills in ELA each week.
