My Project

Over my years of teaching, I have spent a lot of my own money on books, books, and more books! Due to a grant, our district is getting a bit of money to buy more books! In an effort to make my classroom library more efficient for students to book shop, I am currently reorganizing, purging (donating to others), and rethinking. My goal has always been to have books that allow for every student to find something they enjoy. I have worked hard to collect books, label them, and organize them in a way that students can find books easily. However, some of the tubs I currently have are large and not exactly second grade friendly in terms of weight and shop ability. So, I would love to exchange my larger bins for smaller more second grade friendly ones.

My students are so excited for the new books!

They appreciate how organized the classroom is and help keep it that way. This not only helps their growing brains, but my sanity as well. We would greatly appreciate any donations and/or spreading the word to others that may be able to help!
