My Project

I am reaching out with an exciting opportunity to transform our elementary school media center into a vibrant hub of reading and discovery! I am focusing on making our books more accessible and engaging for our young learners by introducing colorful, organized book bins.

Imagine little hands easily finding their favorite picture books, exploring new chapter books with excitement, and discovering the magic of reading in a space that's both inviting and organized.

Currently, our books are on traditional shelves, which can be overwhelming for our younger students.

I envision a media center where:

Organization sparks curiosity: Bright, labeled bins will make it easy for students to find books by genre, topic, or reading level.

Accessibility fosters independence: Children can easily browse and select books that capture their interest.

A cozy reading environment is created: Bins allow for more flexible and engaging book displays.

We can better organize books that are for early readers and make them more visible.

I am aiming to purchase 36 durable, child-friendly book bins to make this vision a reality. Each bin costs approximately $8. Your generous contribution will directly impact the reading habits and educational journey of the students at LPES.
